Using the program

The program creates a HTML file which includes the links to all files in the folders or subfolders you selected.

Select the folder in which the files are.

If you want your HTML file to include the path to your files (e.g. for a CD-ROM), check the ''Full path'' check box.

If you want your HTML file include a link to all the files in the subfolders, check the ''Include subdirectories'' check box.

If you don't want the program to search for HTML title in the html files and want to use the filename instead check the "Ignore titles, use filename" check box.

If you want to save local index (that points to files on a hard disk, i.e. add file:/// to the file name) check the "Create local index" check box.

You can select custom background image for your index file. Check the "Background image" check box and the standard Windows open file dialog will appear. Select an image from current folder and click "OK" or "Open". If you select an image from a different folder be sure to copy it to the folder where you saved the index.

Click on the ''Add links to HTML'' button. You can delete one line by selecting it and pressing the ''Delete'' button on your keyboard.
Click on ''Finish & Save'' button to save the contents of the created index file. A standard Windows dialog will open prompting you to enter a valid file name for the index.
When an index is saved you can view the index instantly by clicking the 'View index' button. The button is disabled in the process of creating the index and after clearing the index contents.
If you changed your mind or just want to create another index file click on the ''Clear'' button and start over from point 1.
